I have new star ornaments available in white on white clay and in a new shiny turquoise glaze.
My new very dark-brown/black glaze - it's silky and semi-matte!

Getting ready for the tour!
It's a mess! I'm working on several pieces at the same time, taking a bisque firing out of the kiln, making a new glaze - it doesn't look pretty! But by Mother's Day weekend the glaze firings will hopefully give me some good work and the studio will be ready.

A little swirly bowl
Three clays - red, white and my own blue one - are blended together and hand thrown on a potter's wheel to create a unique pattern on this shallow bowl.
It feels as if you are gazing into space, or maybe into a chocolate/vanilla swirl - yum! With blueberries!

Mandarin Valley Candles are open at High Hand!

'Zebra' pots and some 'winter' flowers
Here is the blended clay trimmed to bring the different colors out and waiting to dry. The lines can range from fine to wider - it depends on how often I wedged the clays together and also on the throwing. If I pull the clay up and push it down several times it gets more mixed together.
Then again, there is also an element of chance which is fun!
These are little candle 'caves' for votives.
The only 'flowers' blooming in front of the studio right now ...
